We all have an aura, an energetic second skin that governs what comes in and out of our energy field.
When our third eye or spiritual vision is active we can see the color of different living being’s aura. These colors will vary depending on the health of the person/being, their life experiences and current circumstances.
Knowing our aura color gives us insight into where our energy is expanding and where it is restricted or not flowing as well as it should and can be.
Continuing my series about the different aura color meanings, today I’d like to talk about what having a gold aura means and the common personality traits associated with it.
Is gold a rare aura color?
This is probably the most asked question about this aura color. Yes, it is rarer than others!
In my time doing aura readings over the last few years there are four main categories of rareness.
The first are the most common, such as red and orange. These are more earthy color and represents energies in the lower chakras, related to physical survival and functioning.
Then there are the blues and greens, which are still quite common but not always peoples’ main aura color.
Then there are pinks, golds, browns, silvers that are quite rare and I don’t see them everyday. Keep in mind, I do readings for a lot of creative people and those on an awakening journey, so my selection is not representative!
Finally there are black and white auras, that I don’t see often at all and represent people at the extremes ends of energy development or devolution.
Can your aura color change?
Again, yes! Aura colors can change from day to day, season to season, and based on someone’s current circumstances and even mood.
If you get your aura colors read know that you are just seeing a representation of your energy in the moment, in the season of life you are in. These colors can change depending on the inner work you do and if your health and circumstances change.
Also keep in mind that just because an aura color is rarer, doesn’t mean you are ‘better’ or ‘worse’ than anyone else. Everyone is on a different path, and even highly developed people might not have an aura color prominently showing if they are focused on something else.
What does a gold aura mean?
So, let’s get into the meanings! Gold is most directly associated with spirituality, a higher development of your energy/spiritual centers. When I see a gold aura in a reading, I know someone is deeply connected with their purpose.
A gold aura will often mean you have close connection with your spiritual guides, angels and even passed loved ones. You never quite feel alone, even if you are physically.
This is what makes gold auras such great leaders, they know how to be around people and guide them. So you’ll often find yourself in the role of a carer, teacher or problem-solver (even if you don’t intend to). You may find that strangers randomly come up to you for advice, even if you aren’t giving off that vibe.
People with gold auras will have overcome a lot of hardship or learnt a lot of their karmic lessons. Gold in someone’s aura represents embodied and well integrated knowledge/wisdom.
People with gold auras don’t just learn something at a surface level! They will dive right in and try to understand every detail and angle of something.
Best jobs for people with gold auras
The most obvious career field for someone with a gold aura is a spiritual teacher or leader. Some people with gold auras are destined for, and find themselves attaining fame/noteworthiness.
Gold auras will also work well in any type of teaching field. Running a business or non-profit. They make great public speakers and motivators wherever they find themselves on the career ladder.
Gold auras also make great researchers, due to all of the qualities we’ve discussed. Working in logistics and overseeing large corporations or projects is a good fit.
What does a gold aura mean for love
Finally, let’s touch on love. This is always an area people are interested in when I do readings. I suppose it makes sense, romance is always a hot topic and focus.
My answer here completely depends on how prominent gold shows up in your aura. We can have more than one aura color at any one time, and this will influence how it affects our work and love lives.
Someone with a strong and obvious golden aura may struggle in relationships, specifically finding someone on their level.
However, I also think gold auras may not prioritize or chase relationships and so this may not be as much of a problem. They’ll allow relationships to come to them, when the timing and circumstances are right.
As a result, the relationships they do have will be very secure and go deep. Gold auras can be very stubborn or motivated in one direction, depending on how well they balance and integrate this energy.
If you have this aura color you may have a difficult time fitting in.
Sometimes this can develop into a big ego, or people view you that way when it truly isn’t your intention. It’s very important not to get too wrapped up in associations we have with this color, as something highly valuable and attractive. Always keep a humble outlook, as while these categories can be helpful, they can also boost our self-image in a way that is unhelpful.
All categories, even spiritual ones, can do this.
To thrive as a gold aura, you want to be as clear as you can on your purpose. Don’t shy away from taking strong, decisive actions in the direction of your dreams.
You may have high expectations of yourself, and it will be important to understand just how much potential you have, but make sure you’re giving yourself enough credit too!
